This session is very encouraging. I am moving a site to a VPS where I do not have root priv. So... I'm wondering how to test my site before notifying DNS. I guess I'll let y'all know what I find out. Is there a secret place where these session "notes" (or whatever) are available?

PHP variables in apache.conf

The example apache.conf in the presentation may not work as expected. It did not in my case. According to the PHP documentation at http://php.net/manual/en/configuration.changes.php

PHP constants do not exist outside of PHP. For example, in httpd.conf you can not use PHP constants such as E_ALL or E_NOTICE to set the error_reporting directive as they will have no meaning and will evaluate to 0. Use the associated bitmask values instead. These constants can be used in php.ini
