Lesson 05: Get your CVS on!
Here's an event to track the class about CVS and the Project module on Drupal.org. If you've always wondered what everyone is talking about when they say "dww is the coolest for the new project release system" then this is for you: dww will be joining the session. If you have a module or theme that you would like to release on Drupal.org then you will learn how to add it, branch it, tag it, and create a project node.
Take a look at the class agenda to see the topics that will be covered. It's a wiki page so be bold in editing it to add something that you hope I will cover.
There's no real limit on the number of people that can attend, though the communications systems may degrade slightly.
Prerequisites to Grok the Content:
1. You should have a decent knowledge of Drupal, Modules, and Themes
2. You should have a CVS client installed. Check the agenda page for hints on which to use. It's not entirely necessary to do this, but it may help.
Prerequisites to Play Along During the Lesson:
1. An IRC Client - we'll be "chatting" in IRC while the lesson happens
2. Skype - I'll be monologuing - you ask questions in IRC and I may answer it via voice - details on this skypecast
3. A Java enabled browser - my screen will be broadcast via VNC to a website that then shares it with everyone else via a Java applet.
If you're missing any one of these, the IRC client is the easiest to skip. Not having Skype or a Java enabled browser would be a showstopper for your real-time enjoyment.

Victorkane has expressed his ability to attend and take notes on the process.
